The Hazelton Hotel Voted Number Three Best Hotel In Canada

Every trip to Toronto is made even more memorable for me when I stay at The Hazelton Hotel, located right in the heart of luxurious Yorkville.  I've had the pleasure of staying at the Hazelton Hotel many times over the last several years, and with each visit, I fall in love with the hotel even more. The Hazelton Hotel is most definitely a perfect escape for a couple looking for a romantic getaway and it's also perfect for a best friends weekend trip, a work retreat, or simply, any visit to Toronto. The Hazelton is "Canada's first and only Forbes five-star independent luxury boutique hotel" and though it's considered a boutique hotel because it only has 77 (very spacious) rooms and suites, it feels very grand and luxurious. The hotel is constantly ranked the #1 hotel in Toronto on TripAdvisor (five years and counting!) and was just voted the N umber Three Best Hotel in Canada  Conde Nast Traveller's 2022 Readers' Choice Awards. I have to agree, becaus...

A Luxurious Stay At The Four Seasons Hotel Toronto

When you check in to a Four Seasons Hotel, no matter where you are in the world, you know you'll be experiencing the most luxurious, memorable stay—and incredible service from the moment you check-in. I had the chance to review the beautiful  Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto , situated in the upscale Yorkville neighbourhood. This hotel is one of the tallest in the area, at 55 storeys—and it is breathtakingly beautiful as soon as you walk in the front doors. The flowers in the lobby area are so colourful and welcoming. The Four Seasons Hotel Toronto was designed by Yabu Pushelberg, so I instantly felt like I was back at the  Four Seasons New York . There were many similarities between the two properties, like the incredible service one can only expect to receive at hotels of this calibre. Yorkville is known for its fine shopping—from luxury boutiques to department stores like Holt Renfrew—to fine dining, and the Four Seasons Hotel is a perf...

Celebrating Canada 150: Where To Stay And What To Do This Summer

With Canada Day just a day away, this country is buzzing with excitement with Canada 150 events, and there has never been a better time to take a vacation–or staycation–in Canada. I was recently on Breakfast Television in Montreal talking about the great things to see and do, and where to stay, in Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto. Ottawa is obviously the place to be to celebrate Canada Day, but if you want to avoid the crowds, not to worry; there is a lot going on after July 1st, too. Here's what you can enjoy: Sky Lounge: Taking place between July 7th and 22nd, this is an exclusive culinary experience that will take the brave 150 feet in the air to discover Ottawa like never before; you'll get to experience a dining experience presented by chef Stephen La Salle, from Andaz Hotel's Feast and Revel delicious restaurant. You can choose between a a cocktail option with appetizers and Canadian wine, or a gourmet three-course dinner. You'll be strapped in Formula-1 sty...

Give The Gift Of Luxury With A Stay At The Hazelton Hotel

As much as I love presents wrapped up under the Christmas tree, I prefer presents that have to do with travel—like a stay in a gorgeous luxury hotel. Sometimes, a weekend getaway is the perfect way to escape and unwind during the crazy holiday season, or in the new year, when you have more time. Giving gifts that have to do with travel—luggage, bikinis, sunglasses, airplane tickets or a surprise stay in a gorgeous hotel in a city you love—give lasting memories that'll last forever. I've had the great pleasure of staying at The Hazelton Hotel several times, and each time I stay there, I fall in love all over again. It's become my favourite hotel, and it's always hard to say goodbye. This luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Yorkville is all about excellent service, gorgeous, sexy  rooms and suites , (62 beautifully designed rooms and 15 exceptional suites) and incredible dining options, whether you're ordering to your room or enjoying the food and ambiance at O...

The Hazelton Hotel: An Intimate And Luxurious Stay

Last week I was in Toronto, staying at The Hazelton Hotel –Toronto's most exclusive five-star hotel. It   was every bit as wonderful as I imagined it would be. I'm thankful to have been invited to review this gorgeous property because it's one hotel I've always wanted to explore. The Hazelton Hotel is an important part of Yorkville's vibe and culture. And boy, do I love Yorkville—this is Toronto's most stylish district, after all, with plenty of amazing shopping and fine dining. Yorkville is where you'll find me when I'm in Toronto, no matter the season. I was curious to find out just how lovely a stay at The Hazelton Hotel would be, especially because it is the number one hotel in Toronto , according to Conde Nast Traveler. The service was amazing; similar to the service I received at the Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour. Everyone was incredibly friendly and ready to help with any request I had, morning or night. The rooms are stunning, especially the gorge...
