Mini Mioche

I was recently introduced to a fabulous new Canadian clothing company that offers trendy, comfortable and affordable clothes for children called Mini Mioche . As you all know, I love to shop. Not only for myself, but for my children, too. I'm picky about what I buy for my boys - I like high quality items, at a few select stores, and I love to dress them in 100% cotton. My oldest son once wore a pair of polyester pj's to bed and woke up scratching himself. Since then, I'm extra picky when looking at the labels. As a Mini Mioche mom, I was lucky to receive a few pieces from their spring line to test out on my youngest son. He received an awesome pair of casual cotton pants, a cute polo style t-shirt, and a long sleeved white shirt. The thing I loved right away? The feel. The cotton is super soft . The company only uses the absolute softest organic cotton - and the clothes fit great, too! I loved them. Huge bonus? They are stylish. The clothes are made in Toronto, too! Check ...

Say Cheese! A giveaway for photo-happy moms!

Edited to add: Congrats to lucky number 17, Carabee , for winning! Once you have a baby, you will spend a LOT of time taking pictures. I couldn't put my camera down once I had a baby - everyday, I try to capture the perfect shot. As you all know, it can be quite difficult to get your infant to look at the camera, and sometimes, we go through great lengths to get our child to look at the camera. From singing songs, to jumping up and down and waving our hands in the air - yes, we try it all! I was recently given the Shutter-Buddy to review and I think it would make a great gift for any new mom. All you have to do is attach the black and white patterned material around your camera, and bingo - your baby will not want to look away from the black and white pattern! I'm giving the Shutter-Buddy away to one of my readers... if you want to win, all you have to do is leave me a comment telling me who you'd give this to, or if you'd keep it for yourself, and why! The contest i...

Flip for the holidays!

I can't believe Christmas is almost here! I think that one of the most important things about the holidays is capturing the memories - both with video and pictures. Especially of the children's excited faces on Christmas morning, when they see the goodies Santa brought! I love looking at videos of my children at Christmas time - it brings back such sweet memories. This is Christos's 5th Christmas, and Dimitry's 2nd Christmas... amazing! Although Christmas is one of the best times to make sure you have a handy little camcorder ready to capture all the moments, with kids, everyday is film worthy! My boys do things that make me laugh daily. There are so many moments I wish I had captured on video! Well, now with the Flip Video Camcorder , I can do that! I received my Flip in the mail yesterday (thanks to Mom Central Canada and The Flip!) and, wow! It's amazing! It's so light and so small - weighs less than my iphone! And it's totally cute, too. It's some...

A gift from me to you

You know what always make me feel better when I am feeling down? Spending time with my children. It is the best thing in the world, you know? Talking to them, laughing with them, playing together, reading, snuggling, and cuddling. Just being together. You know what else makes me happy? Comments on my blog. I love each and every one of you for taking the time to write comments on my blog posts. Every comment I receive is like getting an amazing birthday present. I am very thankful for all the comment love! I truly love everything about blogging, (well, maybe not the drama) and knowing that you like reading what I have to write is wonderful and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Speaking of warm and fuzzy... shopping is another thing I love to do when I'm feeling down, especially when the weather takes a turn for the worse. Doesn't shopping make you feel good, too? And as much as I complain about the cold, I DO love fall clothes - the boots and the soft sweaters and all th...
