Four Seasons Montreal: A Luxurious Experience

Montreal is a world class city offering countless options for visitors to explore and discover, and there is no shortage of great hotels downtown. However, one hotel rises above the rest in Montreal, and that hotel is the Four Seasons. Since opening its doors in 2019, the Four Seasons Montreal has become the city's most talked about luxury address. Perfectly situated in the heart of downtown, the hotel blends sophisticated design with exceptional personalized service--something you'll notice the moment you check-in. Any Four Seasons stay is incredible and having experienced several Four Seasons hotels, from New York City to Toronto and Athens--this property in Montreal is outstanding in every way.

From the warm, highly personalized check-in (where thoughtful attention was given to my teenage children, making the experience seamless and genuinely welcoming) to the moment we stepped into our room, Four Seasons Hotel Montreal made an exceptional first impression. The accommodations themselves were nothing short of stunning: expansive marble bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows framing beautiful downtown views, and ultra comfortable beds that invited immediate relaxation. Elevated details, such as Byredo bath amenities, a luxurious stand-alone soaking tub, and generous closet space large enough to store suitcases and hang an entire wardrove made the room our sanctuary and an elegant retreat that felt like our home away from home.

The room's decor was so pretty, we never wanted to venture out, and the 24-hour in-room dining service was thoroughly enjoyed for our breakfast the next morning. The pancakes were probably the best we've ever experienced in any hotel!

During our hosted stay, we had the pleasure of experiencing Marcus Restaurant + Terrace, a modern, sophisticated dining space and culinary destination in the hotel. One of the best places to eat, people watch, and sip wine, we were given front-row seats at the bar and enjoyed the Chef's Counter Experience and tasting menu, where each dish was crafted with seasonal ingredients, prepared live in front of us, and tailored to suit our dietary preferences and requirements. The evening was elevated with a wine pairing curated by Chef Sommelier Alexandra Guay, that complemented each delicious course.

In addition to world-class dining, Four Seasons Montreal is also home to Forbes Five Star Guerlain Spa, offering an atmosphere of refined tranquility for deep relaxation and absolute bliss. From the moment I arrived for my scheduled appointment (a one-hour full body massage) every detail was perfection, before, during, and after my massage. The spa has a large check-in area, where you can also shop Guerlain products, from skin care to makeup, and then you'll slip into the waiting area, where you can experience the Kneipp Hydrotherapy Experience, focused on the healing power of water. You can walk on the reflexology trail to massage and stimulate the soles of your feet, before or after your treatment. There are eight treatment rooms at the spa, including a couples' suite, and the services range from massages to facials to hair treatments, and their popular advanced HydraFacial treatment.

After my massage, I ventured to the hotel pool for even more relaxation. The sleek indoor pool and state of the art fitness centre provide a great balance of wellness and indulgence for visitors, from morning to night. Adding to the hotel's appeal is the seamless connection to high-end shopping, as the hotel is connected to the iconic Holt Renfrew Ogilvy, which makes for a great way to shop in luxury without even venturing outside, if the weather is too cold in the winter months.

Four Seasons Montreal continues to define modern luxury, proving that even a few years after its opening it remains the city's most compelling and coveted address. From the beautiful rooms to the dining experiences, Guerlain Spa, proximity to Holt Renfrew Ogilvy, and impeccable service, this hotel is simply perfection in every way.

Thank you for the most memorable stay, and hosting us, Four Seasons Montreal. It was a pleasure from check-in to check-out, and we can't wait to visit again!
