My little heartbreakers

My little trouble makers. Such heartbreakers.

They keep me smiling all day long.

And they keep me busy!

My boys are go-go-go all day long - it's amazing I'm not in better shape, with all the running around I do after them!

Summer has been great - despite all the rainy days we have had, we have managed to go swimming a lot more than last summer, since my inlaws opened their pool this year, and my sister got a new pool in her backyard.

I don't think she realized when she got a pool we were going to be there almost everyday, but she's not complaining... yet!

These are the things I love about summer:

Visits to the park,
playing in the sand,
pushing the boys on the swings,
hearing their laughter in the pool,
hearing Christos sing O Canada every time he gets in the pool,
watching him ride his bike,
hearing my boys laugh,
building Lego towers,
playing trucks and making 'cement',
doing yard work together,
helping Christos write his alphabet,
teaching him how to read,
looking at the moon through his new telescope,
hearing Dimitry say new words everyday,
seeing him smile,
exploring,
bath time,
nap time,
snack time,
cleaning the house with my boys,
and bedtime...
falling aleep beside them after a busy day is the nicest feeling in the world!

gotta love the boyssss
Just gorgeous! I think children must be similarly aged...I am helping M with her alphabet and words and Abs is talking more everyday. So fun! I love having 2 of the same sex, don't you?

They are adorable! At the end of July I start to feel like Summer is passing us by and try to fit a bunch of things in.
We have had too many rainy days here in Mass to enjoy our summer... is been super hot this week so far... gorgeous pics of your little ones!!
So many of those are my favorite too! I love summer, and so badly want to move where it is warmer! I love tank tops!

I keep thinking the same - I should've lost 20 lbs with all the running around I do! Bah. I love summer too. And your boys are so sweet, yes definitely a couple of heartbreakers there!

You look like you're in pretty good shape to me, so I guess the running around is working.

You sound like a wonderful Mommy!
I don't want to alarm you, but you do know that you can do some of that stuff in the winter too right? HaHa, yeah I know I'm really funny. So, I think my kiddies and your boys would love to have a playdate. It think its time you invite me over to your palace so we can play, and I can steal one of your handbags.

Maria, you're welcome to come here whenever you want, but I can assure you my casa is no palace! Also, my purses are under lock and key and alarm will sound if you try to take one. I kid, I kid... love ya! xo

I was with you until you said cleaning the house with your boys. I guess your children are more obedient than mine! :)
I am telling ya--boys keep ya busy. I agree, can't believe I am not in better shape. Probably because I was an idiot and bought oreos the other day for some crazy reason. What was I thinking---I knew I would be the one to eat them all!!

Those are wonderful things. With being pregnant and all tired and such I find I am not taking stock of things enough. I need to take a moment and just enjoy!
I'm tired just reading your post.

zzzzzzzzz.....

Cute lil tykes though !
Sounds like a fun summer, in spite of the rain! Curious though -- what's the association with 'O, Canada' and getting in the pool?

And, may I point out, you and your boys are completely incapable of taking anything less than a absolutely adorable picture.

Thanks everyone!!!! xo

Shannon - it is the funniest thing ever! We have no idea why he does it. Only my sisters pool. He gets in and starts singing O Canada! Totally random!
they are adorable--great list about summer
