Have you been watching the 2016 Rio Olympics? I've been watching non-stop with my children and we are loving all the events, especially track, swimming, and gymnastics. Canadian women have been rocking the podium at the Olympics, winning so many medals—and I think it's important to watch with my kids to show them how far you can go with the right mind set and determination. I love hearing the stories about the athlete's journey to Rio, and what an important role family plays in helping these athelete's reach their goals. (And I still cry every time I watch a P&G Thank You Mom commercial—without fail.) It was so cool watching Brianne Theissen-Eaton win bronze in women's hepathalon. Despite the less than seasonable weather, I'm still excited for spring. Despite the cold weather and falling snow, I love this time of year because the holiday season is a great time to catch up with friends and family, celebrating the season creating new memories. I look forward to the festive parties, and whether I'm hosting friends or going out, my favourite part is getting ready for the night. It's impossible to watch a P&G #ThankYouMom commercial without tearing up. As a mom, I'm always overly emotional and the P&G #ThankYouMom campaign is one I love dearly. It's a campaign that's all about giving athletes a chance to thank their biggest supporters in life–their moms.  (Aww!) From Tide to Bounty to Pantene, P&G products are everywhere in our home, and have been for years, very since I was a child. It's touching that a company I love does so much to help others, too. Now that warmer days are here, there's really no need to ever be indoors—unless it's to sleep, and even then, it's with the windows open, so the sounds of summer can be heard. This weather, you guys... it's perfection. Finally, after the longest winter ever , we're able to kick back and soak up the sun. The only thing keeping me indoors is... argh —never-ending piles of laundry that somehow, despite the fact that we're wearing less clothing than we did in the winter—seem to keep piling up. (And maybe it's because my boys seem to roll in mud, like, every day, going through so many t-shirts and short every day!) I am absolutely thrilled that I am a P&G Mom . It's exciting being a part of this group, and I'm happy to share news and information with my fabulous readers here about the products I love from P&G. I just got back from an almost two week vacation to south Florida and Orlando, where I walked and swam in the ocean, stayed at gorgeous resorts, and explored Disney World, Epcot and the Kennedy Space Centre with my family. We had a great time, and now we've traded our flip flops for boots, again. It was nice coming home to a great big package of goodies from P&G—it sure beat coming home to all the snow! Winter can seem never-ending, so we do what we can to make the most of the long and cold days. Like going shopping... for clothes that are guaranteed to be comfy, sexy, and just right ...
