A Festive Giveaway For Your Family

Now that November is here, it's time to start planning for the holiday season. (Yes, already!) The busiest time of the year has just begun—decorating the house, attending Christmas plays and concerts, enjoying and hosting parties, baking, and, of course, shopping for the perfect outfit with just the right amount of sparkle—all while enjoying hot chocolate by the fireplace, watching Elf. Indeed, it is the most wonderful time of the year. Although I always plan my holiday shopping early so I'm not panicking on December 24th, I sometimes forget to buy certain things, like items for the stockings. Yikes! I try to put traditional items in each stocking, like chocolate, candy canes, games and small toys. February is a cold month, and even though I'm just back from a warm and sunny vacation down south, I still miss the warmth and the carefree days and nights. February, even though it's the coldest month of all if you live in the Canada's capital, is also a month to celebrate love, and not just on Valentine's Day! Massages release endorphins, which are sure to turn up the heat in the bedroom! Get Away: Leave th...

We're already halfway through January; this month is just flying by. I like to start each year by making necessary positive changes that'll last longer than 31 days, even though sometimes it can be challenging. Here are some ways you can make this your best year ever: Spread the word Share your goals, desires, and/or resolutions with your friends and family. Not only will you gain support from your loved ones, it'll also encourage you to keep yourself accountable. (Trust me, this works!) Sometimes a nice nudge or reminder from a friend will help keep you on track on the days you feel like giving up. Set yourself up for success With the new year, we tend to set overly-ambitious goals for ourselves, so it's better to not set expectations too high. Sometimes, creating smaller goals over the duration of the year will give you better, lasting results. No crash dieting! (I've been so guilty of that in the past!) If you're looking to get fit and h...
