Summer Hours

It's been 13 days since my last blog post, and I think that's pretty much a record for me. It also means one thing: summer is here. And it's a busy, busy time, as I'm sure you are aware.

Saying good-bye to great-grandparents who have left for Greece for the summer, soccer games, pool parties, girls weekend, end of school year celebrations, Canada Day festivities, and the start of Mad Science camp for my boys, and it's only the first week of July.

I also just finished my last day at work—after ten years working in Communications for the federal government, I'm... finished. It's scary, (actually, really scary) but exciting, at the same time. Right now, I'm just going to focus on having a really enjoyable summer with my family and friends.

We're off to spend a fabulous weekend at our favourite Toronto hotel—the Marriott Bloor Yorkville. We'll be staying in the Presidential Suite again, and I think I may be more excited than my children. From the service to the location, this hotel is perfection. I'll tell you all about it once we get back.

Then we're off to south Florida to relax and have fun at the Westin Diplomat Resort. I can't wait to take in the breathtaking views of the ocean, swim in the pools, eat at my favourite restaurants in Bal Harbour, and of course, do some shopping. The Westin has been so incredible to me and my family over the years, and this year is no exception. I'll be blogging all about our stay and the resort, too!

I'm also busy blogging over here.

I've done all the hard work for you, and blogged about what the hottest swim wear is this summer for every body.

I've also written about what you absolutely need to pack for your beach vacation.

Now you're totally set for your summer vacation—whatever you're doing, I hope you're having fun!

Must be nice - I get stuck here in sunny Florida with the beach nearby all year long, with no snow or cold. You live quite an awesome life.
Now that is a way to kick off a great summer! Can't wait to hear all about it!
