At the car wash

I just could not help myself. This picture? Was way too cute not to take. Even though yes, my 2 year old is having a complete melt-down in the car, and crying so much that he spit out his granola bar...

What prompted these tears, you ask? Nothing more than the... car wash. Yup. The good 'ole car wash scared the crap out of my son, and he couldn't stop crying.

Of course, being the good mother that I am, I saw this as a perfect opportunity to snap a picture of him because, well, he looks so darn cute with tears streaming down his face!

My poor little darling...

Haha! So cute!
Crying pictures are the best.
My children hate the car wash too. I use it as a scare tactic... "If you don't stop talking back we are going to the car wash. I'm not kidding!" ;)

That horrible, scary car wash! He'll love the photo in about 30 years! I think it's great!
We did a car wash today too! But my two enjoyed it! He will laugh someday seeing that picture!

Aww. My kids were scared of the car wash too. Their eyes would bug out of their head! And I'd be snickering in the front seat...

My youngest son had the same experience. It was so sad - and I made him sit thru the entire thing!!

He wasn't traumatized, and we went about a month ago and he loved it. Thought it was pretty cool, indeed. Of course, he's 6 now. So it may take a while.

He looks so cute!! Niko acts the same exact way in a car wash - I have no idea why! Hope you are doing well!

Lolol-he almost looks like Jake did after we took him on Tower of Terror at Disneyland.

We had to see the Muppets after to revive him. He still speaks darkly about that....

We had a car wash experience like that. Sophie wigged out. It was hysterical and awful.
I think its so funny that you stopped to take the pic.

These are the memories you can share with all the women in his life later. Well done mommy!

Hahaha. I always think it'll be a good idea to take my kids through the carwash - and, nope - too scary apparently!

Oh, the horror of getting the car cleaned. It's pretty cute and a little funny, too!

Our little guy was THE SAME WAY at that age.
Oh I know - it's hard not to capture every precious expression on film. Though sometimes it might seem a bit sadistic... I love this one.
Aww! Poor little guy. HILARIOUS that his granola bar fell out! Ha ha! I mean, aww...poor little guy. ;-)

I avoided going to the car wash for about 10 months or something, because my boy hated the sound of the vacuums. As a result, I had a really dirty car for a long time!

OMG!! I hate that I'm laughing at the granola bar when he looks so sad!! Sort of funny though..

J has always hated the carwash too. Fortunately for him we got rid of the cars!

So cute :)
Ahhhhhh, the meltdown. Good times. Mine had one today because he couldn't stir what was on the stove. Sigh.

I do feel your pain - For some reason my daughter tends to already by asleep when I decide to go through the car wash :D
