Weekend fun

We had a great weekend, despite the fact that Christos had a cold. We went for a walk downtown on Sussex, where we enjoyed the beautiful day, looked at a nice waterfall, ate some Cheetos and fed the birds. They seemed to love the Cheetos as much as my boys did!

Have I mentioned how hard it is to get a decent picture of me with my boys? Seriously? I think I need the help of a professional, although my husband is not bad at taking pictures. At least both my boys are at least looking at the camera in this shot. (We can't expect them both to be smiling now, can we?) But of course, I'm not smiling. I think I'm talking. Or begging them to smile. Whatever.

Here's Christos, as Atlas...

And big smiles with Cheetos stains!

It is *so* hard to get photos of yourself with your kids, so many of our friends tell us this. But you did get some nice shots Miss Loulou, at least the one, yes? Of course, to us they are all nice because everyone looks so darn cute!

I agree with you and PP, almost impossible to get a good shot of Mom and kids.

I tried to get a good shot of my kids for a Christmas photo last year. I took over 155 shots and guess which one I ended up using? The first shot. Go figure!

My camera broke last week and I hate not having one. Last night M rode his big bike for the first time (training wheels) and I wasn't able to take a picture. WAAAAA

Every time Hubby takes a photo of me with the kids, I have a silly face. He always gets me when I am talking, squinting or overall making a face. Other people don't seem to have the same problem just Hubby.

J loves to feed Cheetos to the birds too!

What a fun weekend! My kids ate Cheeto's for the first time this weekend too.

I have a handful of pictures of me with my kids. I'm going to hire someone to follow me around and take pictures of us...when I'm skinny. LOL!

We struggled with photo taking this weekend as well! I was smiling in most of them, but my kiddo was either staring at something else, or giving a dazed, half-smile. I guess I just can't win. :-)

I know this dilemma all too well!
Why is it so hard to get good photos with our babies? Especially, the older they get--Cash is always being silly or stubborn!!
I thought of you when I put Montreal on that tag thing I did!!!

I know that feeling! I can never get a shot of both boys (let alone with me), although I guess mine are a lot younger... I think the one of you with both boys is lovely though.

Mmmmmmm....Cheetos:P
Have you noticed too then, that in most of us bloggy mom pics, either us or our children look um, silly? I usually pic the ones where I look the best and let my kids look like monkeys, but I am vain that way!
Looks like a fun time!

My big fear is that the kids will never remember that I used to be young. Most of the pics in this house are taken by me...therefore there are so few of me! Good for you for making sure your hubby gets you in those pictures. Doesn't matter if they are perfect!

there are practically NO pics of me, with or without the kids, as I'm the one alwasy holding the camera
