You have got to be kidding me. I have read some pretty stupid stories, but this one just takes the cake. For today, anyway. I mean, really? Who could possibly need a course on washing their hands? My 18 month old can already wash his hands, and dry them on the towel, thank you very much. What a waste of money! Yet again!
Health Authority Offering Hand-Washing Courses
The Vancouver Island Health Authority is offering hand-washing courses to hospital health-care workers and community-care facilities staff.
The 130-thousand dollar program will hire seven full-time educators for a two month period.
Some employees are questioning why the cash-strapped health authority is spending money teaching people how to wash their hands.
